Scorekeeper questions
How does the scorekeeper work?
Add your players, then record each hand: who won, how they won, who discarded, and the value of the hand. The scorekeeper works out what everyone pays, adds it to the running totals and keeps a log of every hand.
Does it use the same payouts as the Payout Calculator?
Yes. The discarder pays double and the others pay face value, a self-pick makes everyone pay double, and a jokerless hand doubles the value, except for singles and pairs hands. You can also switch on the house rule where the discarder pays for the table.
What do I do for a wall game?
Choose “Nobody (wall game)” as the winner and add the hand. No money moves, and the hand still counts as played.
What if more than four people are playing?
Choose 5 to 8 players. For each hand, tick the players who are sitting out. You need to tick exactly as many as there are extra players, so four are always at the table.
What is Settle up?
It is a short list of payments that clears everyone’s totals, so each person pays or collects with as few handovers as possible.
Is my game saved?
Yes, in your own browser on this device, so a refresh or a closed tab will not lose it. Nothing is sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes it, so print or copy the results to keep a record.
Can I fix a mistake?
Yes. Use Undo last hand, or press Remove next to any hand in the log. The totals update straight away.
Does it handle money or bets?
No. It only does the arithmetic your table has already agreed on. No wagers are accepted and no money is moved.
